JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-09-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner is in custody in a case registered under Sections 13,16, 18 of U.P.A.Act and 17 C.L.A. Act. The allegation against the petitioner is of demanding Rs. 20 lacs as Rangdari.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 10.11.2015. Charge sheet has been submitted in this case. There is no allegation of tampering with the witnesses alleged against the petitioner. The petitioner is not named in the FIR. He has been made accused on the basis of his confession made before the police. There is no substantive evidence to suggest the implication of the petitioner in the present case.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32766 of 2016 (3) dt.17-09-2016 2/2 On behalf of the State, it has been submitted that the petitioner is not named in the FIR.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let, above named petitioner, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Hilsa, Nalanda in connection with Hilsa P.S.Case No. 547 of 2015.
