JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 20-06-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief :- "(i) For issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus for direction to respondents for considering the application dated 17.08.2022 filed by the petitioner in compliance of the judgment dated 16.11.2019, passed in Sessions Trial no. 119 of 2001 (arising out of Sanhoula PS case no. 16 of 2000), by which the respondent State was directed to pay Rs.

5 lacs from the fund of the Government Welfare Yojana but same has not been paid till today and further issue direction to respondents to pay the awarded amount of Rs. 5 lacs by judgment dated 16.11.2019 with

Patna High Court CWJC No.16054 of 2022(2) dt.20-06-2023 2/2 compound interest till date of full and final payment."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to file appropriate representation before the District Magistrate, Bhagalpur for redressal of his aforesaid grievance. Liberty so sought, is granted.

It is needless to state that in case, appropriate representation is filed within a period of four weeks from today, the District Magistrate, Bhagalpur shall consider the same in accordance with law and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, within a period of six weeks, thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
