JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 05-04-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "(i)For issuance of writ nature of mandamus for direction to the respondents for consider -ing the application dated 31.03.2022 filed before the Respondent No.6 Chief Executive Officer-Cum-District Development Commissioner, Nalanda for payment of the arrear of the salary to the husband of the petitioner for the month of February, October, November, December 2003, January,

Patna High Court CWJC No.16058 of 2022(2) dt.05-04-2024 2/2 September, 2004, February, March 2005 and March 2006 and December 2007.

(ii) For issuance of direction to respondents to consider the application of the petitioner to pay the arrear of the salary to the husband of the petitioner which is due, to pay along with the interest 8% per annum to till date of full and final payment."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the respondent no.6, i.e. the Chief Executive Officer-cum-District Development Commissioner, Nalanda for redressal of her aforesaid grievances. Liberty, so sought, is granted.

The writ petition stands dismissed as not pressed.
