JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 03-03-2022 Heard Mr. Vipin Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Manoj Kumar, learned APP for the State. Let the defect(s), if any, be removed within a period of four weeks after complete start of the physical Court. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Taraiya P.S. Case No. 447 of 2020 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 06.09.2021, charge-sheet has been submitted and has antecedent of seven cases and allegation is of recovery of 630 litres of liquor from the house of Jagdish Manjhi, it is alleged that the petitioner had concealed the liquor in the house of Jagdish Manjhi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

Learned APP opposes the bail application.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody and was not arrested from the spot, name came in the confessional statement of Raj Kumar Paswan, charge-sheet has been submitted, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.5,000/- (Rupees five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum- Special Judge, Excise, Saran at Chapra in connection with Taraiya P.S. Case No. 447 of 2020 .
