2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Section 21(c) of N.D.P.S. Act.

3. The apprehended co-accused disclosed the name of petitioner, who managed to flee away and on search, Onrex cough syrup containing codeine phosphate - 1200 bottles (each of 100 ml), was recovered from the three wheeler. On search of house of the apprehended co-accused Manoj Paswan, Onrex cough syrup containing codeine phosphate - 360 bottles(each of 100 ml) and on the identification of the apprehended coaccused, Onrex cough syrup containing codeine phosphate -720 bottles (each of 100 ml) was recovered from behind the house of the petitioner, which was kept in Jalkumbhi.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been made accused in this case on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused Manoj Paswan, who was apprehended on spot. No such cough syrup containing codeine phosphate has been recovered from possession or house of this petitioner. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the above named petitioner, in the event of arrest/surrender within a period of eight weeks from today, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Sitamarhi / concerned Court in connection with Sonbarsha P.S. Case No. 196 of 2025, subject to condition as laid down under Section 482 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
