The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Mahila P.S. Case No.23 of 2018 registered under Sections 498A, 323, 354, 494 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleged that her husband and other inlaws began to demand cash and other articles as additional dowry and started subjecting to her physical and mental torture. The informant alleged that the petitioner also tried to outrage her modesty and the accused persons are indulged in illegal activities.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is brother-in-law of the complainant. The marriage of complainant was solemnized with Chandan Kumar in the year 2009. The petitioner has no manner of concern with the family

Having considered the facts and the nature of allegation against the petitioner and the fact that the petitioner is brother-in-law of complainant, the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Darbhanga in connection with Mahila P.S. Case No.23 of 2018, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
