The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Section 414, 399, 402, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act. Petitioner has been named in this case on the confessional statement of co-accused Uday Singh, who was apprehended on the spot alongwith two other persons with arms and ammunition. The petitioner is alleged to have fled away after seeing the police.

It is submitted that no arms or ammunition has been recovered from the possession of this petitioner and has been made accused only on the basis of confessional statement of coaccused. Petitioner is in custody since 21.03.2021. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., East Champaran, Motihari in connection with Pipra P.S. Case No. 83 of 2020.
