2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 324, 323, 354B, 376 and 511 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. The prosecution case is based upon the complaint petition in which allegation of demand of dowry and torture has been made. The petitioner is the husband and there is allegation of demand of dowry and torture.
4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70231 of 2024(6) dt.16-06-2025 2/3 that the allegations made in the complaint are totally false. It is further submitted that earlier the matter was sent to Patna High Court Mediation Center but the mediation has failed. It is further submitted that the parties have reached on a settlement out of Court for one time settlement on payment of Rs.6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs) in total. It is further submitted that the petitioner would make a payment of the said amount in three equal installments. Learned counsel for the opposite party no.2 is agreeable to the same.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case as well as the fact that both the parties have settled the dispute out of the Court and the petitioner is ready to give Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh) as a first installment at the time of furnishing his bail bonds and the proof of such payment would be shown at the time of furnishing the bail bonds, let the above named petitioner, be released on provisional bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending/successor Court in connection with Complaint Case No.952 (C)/2023, subject to
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.70231 of 2024(6) dt.16-06-2025 3/3 the condition as laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Cr.P.C. Thereafter, the rest amount would be paid in two installments in a total period of two months and upon payment of the entire amount, the learned Court below would confirm the bail bonds of the petitioner.
