This is an application for bail in connection with Buxar (M) P.S.Case No. 23 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 341, 323/34, 304 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that deceased died later on but not due to the injury as she was suffering from T.B. and petitioner is in custody since 3.8.2016. Heard learned APP also.

Having heard both sides and from perusal of the record it appears that on the basis of written report of the girl case has been lodged by the Officer-in-charge in which she has stated about assault by the petitioner and other accused persons, I am not

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.10554 of 2017 (3) dt.04-04-2017 2/2 inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Since the petitioner is in custody for about seven months, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and try to conclude it as soon as possible. Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
