KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) Date : 23-11-2020 Present petition was registered on the basis of the written communication addressed to the Hon'ble the Chief Justice, Patna High Court.

Certain Advocates of Begusarai District Bar Association seek arrest of certain persons in connection with the case registered by the police. Also they want proper functioning of the Government hospital and the Doctors to discharge their duties as per law.

We are of the considered view that petition can be disposed of with the direction to the respondent Nos. 3 and

Patna High Court CWJC No.5223 of 2018 dt.23-11-2020 2/2 4, namely, Director-in-Chief, Health Department, Government of Bihar, Patna and the Civil Surgeon, District Begusarai to consider and take appropriate action on the request made by the Members of Bar, Begusarai District.

Shri Pawan Kumar, learned Assistant Counsel to learned Advocate General, undertakes to communicate the order to the said authorities within one week. We expect that the authorities to take appropriate decision within four weeks. Thereafter the liberty is reserved to any of the parties, including Members of the Bar to approach this Court afresh on the same and subsequent cause of action if so required and desired.

Petition stands disposed of in the aforesaid terms.

Interlocutory application, if any, shall stand disposed of.
