2. The petitioner is in custody since 07.10.2016 in connection with Hazipur Sadar P.S. Case No. 377 of 2016 for the alleged offences under Sections 20(B) II(C) of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. It is submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated as he happens to be merely the driver of one of the passing vehicles and owing to the traffic jam he had come out and was watching the process of police checking. The petitioner claims clean antecedents.

4. Having regard to the nature of accusations and gravity of the offence alleged as well as the quantity of 'ganja' said to have been recovered, this Court is not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. The bail petition stands dismissed. (Vikash Jain, J) Chandran/Ibrar U T
