The petitioner is in custody since 07.01.2019 in connection with Begusarai Muffasil P.S. Case No. 664 of 2018 for the offence registered under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though he is not named in the first information report, his name has been dragged in connection with the present case on the basis of the confessional statement made before the police by one Sanjeev Kumar, which has no evidentiary value. It is further submitted that on his arrest in connection with the present case, he was remanded in several cases and since then he is languising in jail. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Judicial Magistrate, Begusarai in connection with Begusarai Muffasil P.S. Case No. 664 of 2018.
