The Petitioner seeks bail in Gardani Bagh P.S. Case No. 05 of 2017 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 417, 420, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged in the written report that this petitioner has taken written examination for the post of Jail Constable. It is further alleged that thumb impression given by this petitioner on the date of written examination is different from that given on the date of physical examination. It is alleged that someone else sat in the written examination in place of the petitioner.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14668 of 2017 (2) dt.04-04-2017 2/2 that petitioner is in custody since 11.01.2017. He has no criminal antecedent. It has further been submitted that other co-accused has been granted bail vide Cr. Misc. No. 8294 of 2017 on 07.03.2017. Keeping in view the period spent by the petitioner in custody and petitioner having clean antecedent, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the Petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of 10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna in connection with Gardani Bagh P.S. Case No. 05 of 2017, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
