The petitioner apprehends her arrest in connection with Special Case No.14 of 2014 arising out of Economic Offence P.S. Case No.04 of 2014 registered under Sections 13(2) read with 13(1)(e) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. It is submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have already been enlarged on anticipatory bail by different Benches of this court vide orders dated 05.02.2019, 26.06.2018,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61085 of 2022(2) dt.11-04-2023 2/2 09.04.2019 and 20.09.2018 passed in Cr.Misc.No.2533 of 2019, Cr.Misc.No.23724 of 2018, Cr.Misc.No.67302 of 2018 and Cr.Misc.No.58061 of 2018 (Annexure 2 series). The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Presiding Officer (Special Court), Vigilance, Patna in connection with Special Case No.14 of 2014 arising out of Economic Offence P.S. Case No.04 of 2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
