In the present writ petition, petitioner has made a prayer for payment of admitted dues. Payment of Rs.2,57,455/- has been made by the respondent authority. Now claim has been made by the petitioner that he ought to have been given money in the year 2013 but after four years money has been transferred and as such he is entitled for interest. As petitioner has already invested huge money for the construction of the work assigned to him, the respondents

Patna High Court CWJC No.13223 of 2016 (4) dt.12-07-2017 should have given the money without any delay as they were satisfied with the quality and nature of the construction, in such circumstances, this Court feels that respondents must pay the interest at the rate of 6% simple interest. With the aforesaid observation this writ petition si disposed of.
