The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Vigilance P.S. Case No. 10 of 2018 (Spl. Case No. 7/2018) for the offences punishable under Sections 7/13(2) read with section 13(1)(d) of the P.C. Act.

The allegation is regarding the petitioner having caught red handed by the vigilance officials while taking bribe. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is languishing in custody since 16.03.2018 and has a clean antecedent.

Per contra, the learned counsel for the vigilance has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the

No.25225 of 2018 (4) dt.06-07-2018 2/2 case, I deem it fit and proper to direct for release of the petitioner immediately upon completion of six months of his custody from the date of his arrest i.e. 16.03.2018, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Vigilance North Bihar, Muzaffarpur in connection with P.S.
