JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 20-09-2019 The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case of the petitioner for grant of arms license was rejected by the District Magistrate, Patna by an order dated 08.02.2016 and the said order was passed only after the intervention of this Court whereafter the petitioner had filed Arms Appeal No. 170 of 2018 which was allowed by the Commissioner, Patna Division, Patna by an order dated 22.12.2018 and the matter was remanded back to the District Magistrate, Patna for fresh consideration.

It is the case of the petitioner that after remand, no

Patna High Court CWJC No.18515 of 2019(2) dt.20-09-2019 2/2 action has been taken by the District Magistrate, Patna for disposal of the case of the petitioner for grant of arms license afresh in terms of the order passed by the Commissioner, Patna Division, Patna, dated 22.12.2018.

Having regard to the short grievance put forth by the petitioner herein, the present writ petition stands disposed off with a direction to the District Magistrate,Patna to dispose off the pending Arms Application of the petitioner for grant of arms license, in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
