2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Madhubani Town PS Case No.445 of 2022 dated 13.11.2022, instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 304-B, 201 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. The prosecution case, in brief, is that the daughter of the informant was married to the petitioner on 21.04.2022 accordingly to Hindu Rites and Rituals. The in-laws of the daughter of the informant were not happy with the gifts given in the marriage and they were demanding rupees two lakhs for doing business by the petitioner. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.60995 of 2025(3) dt.10-12-2025 2/3 demand, the victim was being harassed by the accused persons. On 12.11.2022, the informant came to know that the accused persons have committed murder of his daughter and cremated her dead body in haste to conceal the fact.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased and she suffered heart attack while cooking and thereafter she was immediately taken to hospital, but she died in the way. The family members of the petitioner had informed the parents of the deceased and they had participated in the funeral. There was very cordial relation between the petitioner and the deceased. Further submission is that during investigation several independent witnesses in paragraph nos. 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 of the case diary have specifically stated that the deceased died due to illness. The petitioner is in custody since 19.05.2025 having no criminal antecedents.

5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the CJM, Madhubani, in Madhubani
