2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chowk P.S. Case No. 143 of 2020 registered for the offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 16.08.2023 and there is recovery of 16 litres of country made liquor from his possession.

4. Learned APP has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail.

5. Considering the period of custody and recovery of liquor from his possession, this application for regular bail is allowed.

6. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Exclusive Special Court of Excise, Patna City in connection with Chowk P.S. Case No. 143 of 2020.

7. The petitioner will visit Chowk Police Station on every Sunday. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bond of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Harsh/ U T
