The writ petition has been filed seeking refund of Rs. 18,679/- which has been deducted by the respondents. As per the stand in the counter affidavit, the said deduction was statutory income tax deduction and the petitioner had also not given his Permanent Account Number so as to enable the concerned authority to issue TDS certificate in his favour. In view of the stand taken by the respondents coupled with the fact that nobody is appearing on behalf of the
