2. Notwithstanding the fact the petitioner superannuated from the post of Associate Professor in the Department of Botany on 31.07.2020, yet he has been deprived from the admissible leave encashment amount, hence the present writ petition.

3. Learned Advocate for the petitioner submitted that upon filing of the present writ petition now the admissible amount of leave encashment has been paid, however, the respondent authorities failed to extend the interest over the delayed payment.

4. Learned Advocate for the university submits that whatever the amount which has been found admissible, the same has been paid to the petitioner and now the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed.

5. Considering the submissions set forth by learned Advocate for the respective parties, the present writ petition stands disposed off, however the petitioner shall be at liberty to raise the grievance of interest over the delayed payment, if so advised before the concerned authorities.

6. Needless to observe that if the petitioner files such an application, the same shall be considered and disposed off. (Harish Kumar, J) supratim/- U
