ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 13-05-2025 Having regard to the fact that the petitioner is challenging the notice issued under Section 7 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914 and has the option of filing his objections under Section 9 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914, the present writ petition is disposed of at the stage of Admission with the consent of the both the parties.

2. The present writ petition is disposed of directing

Patna High Court CWJC No.14317 of 2024(8) dt.13-05-2025 2/2 the petitioner to file his objections under Section 9 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914 Act within a period of four weeks from today. On such objections being filed, the Certificate Officer shall decide the matter on its own merits duly taking into consideration the objections filed by the petitioner and pass final orders under Section 10 of the Bihar and Orissa Public Demands Recovery Act, 1914 .

3. Till such time, the final orders are passed no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner.

4. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the objections filed by the petitioner.

5. With the above directions, the present writ petitions stands disposed of.
