Taking note of the fact that co-accused Anil Kumar appeared in place of the petitioner in an examination, I am not inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail in connection with Nawada P.S. Case No. 696 of 2013 pending in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Nawada stands rejected. However, if, the petitioner surrenders before the court below and seeks regular bail within four weeks from the date of receipt/production of copy of the order, the court below shall pass order on his regular bail petition on the date of his surrender itself, without being prejudiced by this order.
