2. The petitioner has invoked the writ jurisdiction of this Court claiming a direction to the respondents to provide protection of his life and property.

3. The petitioner is a combatant with Indian Air Force. He purchased a piece of land through a registered sale deed dated 11.12.2012. The grievance of the petitioner is that he wanted to raise construction upon the land, whereas some antisocial elements are not permitting him to raise construction and that he informed the nearest police station to provide security so as to complete the construction work but to no avail.

4. It is further asserted that the petitioner is residing outside the State and there is no one in his native village to look after the land and that some antisocial elements have encroached his land as well.

5. The grievance of the petitioner in respect of piece of land purchased by him. Such grievance cannot be redressed with the intervention of this Court so as to direct the police to provide protection to life and property of the petitioner, as it is not asserted that who are the unsocial elements, who are threatening the petitioner and who have encroached his land.

On the basis of such vague allegations, there cannot be any direction to the respondents to provide any police protection to the petitioner. I do not find any merit in the present writ application. Accordingly, this writ application is dismissed. However, the petitioner is permitted to submit a representation to the police authorities for redressal of his grievance, as and when he feels threat to his life and property. If a representation is filed by the petitioner, the competent authority shall consider the same in accordance with law.
