The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Buxar Industrial Area P.S. Case No. 130 of 2021 registered under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in the present case. Only on the confessional statement of co-accused, petitioner has been made accused in the present case. Further he submits that petitioner is neither the owner nor the driver of the seized car. Petitioner has no concern with the seized materials. It is also submitted that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
Having considered the facts and circumstances of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.168 of 2022(2) dt.06-05-2022 2/2 case, let the above named petitioner be released on bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks from today, on furnishing personal bond to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge-IIcum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Buxar in connection with Buxar Industrial Area P.S.
