The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Asarganj P.S. Case No.143 of 2022 registered under Sections 420 and 409 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. He has falsely been implicated in this case. At the time of inspection of the school, the petitioner was on leave. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner stating that the B.E.O. made surprise inspection of Middle School, Kharba and he found the petitioner, who was In-charge Principal of the School, absent

The students have also complained regarding Mid Day Meal. It is also alleged that the petitioner embezzled the government money. Therefore, the petitioner does not deserve anticipatory bail. Having considered the above facts and circumstances of the case as well as nature of the allegations made against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is rejected. (Arvind Srivastava, J) Harish/- U T
