The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence under Sections 323, 324, 354(D) and 307 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the F.I.R., the petitioner assaulted the victim (informant) with knife causing injury on her neck and fingers. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that perusal of the F.I.R. goes to show that victim (informant) and petitioner were in love and when petitioner persuaded the informant to stay with him in night, she refused, on account of which, petitioner got angry and caused injury on her neck and fingers. The injury has been found to be simple in nature by the doctor. Petitioner claims clean antecedent and he is in custody since 16.06.2021.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.1021 of 2022(3) dt.25-04-2022 2/2 Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the backdrop of the matter, in which, the occurrence took place, as well as period of custody and clean antecedent of petitioner, the bail petition of petitioner is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M. - X, Patna in connection with Patliputra P.S. Case No. 284 of 2021.
