2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Chapra Town P.S. Case No. 507 of 2023 registered for the offences under Sections 406 and 420 IPC.

3. From the order sheets, it appears that the petitioner was granted provisional bail vide order dated 13.12.2023 in connection with Chhapra Town P.S. Case No. 507 of 2023 pending in the Court of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chhapra subject to condition that he shall pay Rs. 32.10 lakhs to the informant within four weeks from today i.e., 13.12.2023, failing which the bail bond of the petitioner shall be

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67248 of 2023(12) dt.09-05-2025 2/2 cancelled. After that the petitioner has taken time on several dates to pay the said amount but still he has not paid Rs. 32.10 lakhs to the informant.

Taking into account that despite direction of this Court and undertaking given by the petitioner that he will pay Rs. 32.10 lakhs to the informant within four weeks from 13.12.2023 and still he has not paid the said amount to the informant and is deliberately delaying the payment and is taking undue advantage of the provisional bail granted him, the provisional bail granted to him vide order dated 13.12.2023 in connection with Chhapra Town P.S. Case No. 507 of 2023 pending in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saran at Chhapra, is hereby cancelled.

7. Petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court below immediately.

8. The bail application is dismissed.
