====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SATYAVRAT VERMA ORAL ORDER 16-05-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Suryapura P.S. Case No. 132 of 2020 registered under Sections 304(B), 34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 09.07.2021, is a person with clean antecedent, charge-sheet has been submitted in the case and the informant alleges that his sister was married with Krishna Kumar on 28.06.2018 and after marriage the accused persons were demanding gold chain, further a Panchayati was held and the matter was pacified by the Mukhiya. It is next alleged that on 08.09.2020 he received information that his sister is ill, accordingly the informant reached the place of occurrence and

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.239 of 2022(2) dt.16-05-2022 2/2 found that his sister was badly injured and was taken to hospital for treatment where she died. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is the mother-in-law, the allegations in the F.I.R are general and omnibus in nature and the husband of the deceased is in custody.

The learned A.P.P. for the State opposes the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody since 09.07.2021, is a person with clean antecedent and chargesheet has been submitted in the case and the allegations are general and omnibus in nature and the husband of deceased is in custody, let the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Suryapura P.S. Case No. 132 of 2020.
