ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 20-09-2016 With the help of this writ petition, made under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, in the form of Public Interest Litigation, the petitioner has sought for a direction to the respondent State to identify and remove the encroachments on the land situated within the area of Danapur Cantonment Board, Danapur.

Heard Mr. Akhilesh Kumar Sinha, learned Counsel for the petitioner, and Mr. R.S.Singh, learned AC to AAG 7,

Patna High Court CWJC No.14445 of 2016 (2) dt.20-09-2016 appearing for the State respondents. Heard also Mr. Amarendra Nath Verma, learned Counsel for the respondent Nos. 7 and 8. Considering the matter in its entirety and in the interest of justice, we hereby direct respondent No.5, namely, Collector, Patna, and respondent No.6, namely, Senior Superintendent of Police, Patna, to provide necessary assistance to the authorities of Danapur Cantonment Board, Danapur, if such an assistance is sought for.

The petitioner may furnish to the respondents a certified copy of this order along with a copy of this writ petition and annexures thereto.

In terms of the observations and directions, this application shall stand disposed of.
