The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 2.6.2021 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. No. 8399 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner (petitioner no. 1 therein) to renew his prayer for bail after six months. The petitioner is in custody since 15.9.2020.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the facts of the case, the liberty

No.72443 of 2021(2) dt.05-01-2022 2/2 granted by the aforesaid order dated 2.6.2021 and the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 1 year 3 months, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Dhanha P.S. Case no. 162 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Bagaha, West Champaran.
