The petitioner is apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of killing the daughter of the informant for non-fulfillment of dowry demand by the husband of the victim and his family members within seven years of the marriage. The petitioner is the mother-in-law of the victim. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in the present case and there is no specific overt act against her. It is further submitted that the husband of the victim has surrendered before

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63772 of 2022(3) dt.06-02-2023 2/2 the learned court below on 04.02.2023. A statement has been made in paragraph 3 of the petition that the petitioner is not having any criminal antecedent.

Learned APP opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, let the above named petitioner, be released on bail, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of six weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court below where the case is pending/successor court in connection with Nanpur P.S. Case No. 183 of 2022, subject to the conditions laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C. (Anjani Kumar Sharan, J) DKS/- U
