The petitioner seeks bail in Pranpur P.S. Case No. 158 of 2016 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26/35 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner and other accuse persons were apprehended and from possession of the petitioner one loaded country made pistol with five cartridges were recovered and for that the petitioner is in jail since 16.12.2016. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and similarly situated coaccused Parichit Singh has already been enlarged on bail vide order dated 08.04.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 11681 of 2017. Considering the facts aforesaid the petitioner above

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14868 of 2017 (3) dt.05-05-2017 2/2 named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Katihar in Pranpur P.S. Case No. 158 of 2016.
