The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Bhagwan Bazar P.S. Case No.361 of 2019 registered under Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

The police on information that petitioner was selling liquor by the side of the house of Arun Ram, raid was conducted and about 65.82 liters of Indian made foreign liquor of different brands was recovered but the petitioner managed to flee away. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no manner of concern with the recovery made near the house of Arun Ram but from perusal of F.I.R. itself, it appears that it was petitioner who was selling the liquor near the house of Arun Ram and huge quantity of liquor was recovered.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.61396 of 2019(2) dt.17-10-2019 2/2 Taking into consideration the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
