This application is for grant of bail in connection with Sessions Trial No.726 of 2016 arising out of Bachhwara P.S.Case No.127 of 2016 for the offence under Sections 363, 364, 365, 302, 201, 34, 120B and 406 of the Indian Penal Code. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that only allegation against him is that he is assisting the co-accused in demand of ransom and he is in custody for about eight months. Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail stating that the petitioner is accused in 18 other cases also. Having heard both sides and in view of allegation against him as well as he has no criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, as such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
