Petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Kishanganj (Mahila) P.S. Case No. 56 of 2015 registered under Sections- 376, 224, 225, 147, 148, 34 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present first information report has been lodged after delay of two months without any explanation. Medical report does not suggest any sign of rape and her age has been assessed to be 18 years. The girl is major. The present false case has been lodged only to put pressure for marriage and extort money. Petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16224 of 2017 (6) dt.17-08-2017 2/2 case, the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kishanganj in connection with Kishanganj (Mahila) P.S. Case No. 56 of 2015 subject to the conditions as laid down under section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
