The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Barachatti P.S. Case No.415 of 2020, registered for the offence under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per prosecution story, the petitioner killed the daughter of the informant by Tangi (Axe).

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner is husband of the deceased and has been falsely implicated in this case only on suspicion. There is no eye witness of the alleged occurrence. Marriage of the petitioner solemnized with deceased 15 years ago and there is no allegation of demand of dowry.

Learned APP for the State has opposed the bail petition and submits that deceased has been killed in his

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.665 of 2022(2) dt.21-03-2022 2/2 matrimonial house and petitioner is the husband of the deceased and no explanation has been given by the petitioner as to how the deceased was killed inside the house of the petitioner. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the bail petition of the petitioner is rejected.
