This application is for grant of bail in connection with Sultanjganj P.S.Case No.173 of 2016 for the offence under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he is sole accused in this case and there is allegation that he fired upon the informant but the injuries are found to be simple in nature caused by the fire arm and he is in custody since 20.09.2016. Now the case has been committed.

Having heard both sides and in view of allegation as well as criminal antecedent as made in the F.I.R., I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner, however, as the case has been
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.15255 of 2017 (2) dt.30-03-2017 committed, the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and try to conclude it within a period of six months and if not concluded, the petitioner is at liberty to renew his prayer for bail before the court concerned.
With the above observation, this application is dismissed at this stage.
