2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case, registered for offence punishable under Section 103 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. F.I.R. has been lodged against unknown due to finding of an unclaimed dead-body of a woman. Name of the petitioner surfaced during course of investigation on his confessional statement wherein he has stated that on the alleged date, he along with his neighbour tied that woman with a cement pole and brutally assaulted her, due to which, she died.
