The petitioners apprehend their arrest in Raghopur P. S. Case No. 99 of 2016 registered for the offences under Sections 354, 324, 379 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code.

The informant alleged that his three daughters went to attend call of nature, but Bajrangi Das (Petitioner no.1) caught one of his daughter and tried to take her away, but on alarm, wife of the informant came at the spot where Baidhnath Das assaulted the wife of the informant with sword on his head and Ranjeet Das (petitioner no.2) stabbed the wife of the informant. Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16172 of 2017 (3) dt.18-05-2017 2/2 occurrence took place on 14.11.2016, but the F.I.R. was lodged on 17.11.2016. On the same day, Ganita Kumari the victim filed complaint case No. 2798 of 2016 (Annexure-2) and disclosed different story. It is submitted that the informant wanted to marry his daughter with petitioner no.1, but petitioner no.2, the father of petitioner no.1, objected and that is why this false case has been lodged.

Leanred APP opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail. It appears that the informant made specific allegation that the petitioner Bajrangi Das caught the daughter of the informant with bad intention and tried to take her away. On protest, the petitioner no.2 Ranjeet Das is said to have assaulted the wife of the informant. The informant and his wife got as many as three injuries and opinion with regard to two injuries is kept reserved. Considering the nature of allegation made against the petitioners, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
