JUSTICE ASHWANI KUMAR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 24-02-2016 By way of the present application preferred under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks quashing of the First Information Report of Sirdala P.S.Case No. 168 of 2014 registered under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468 and 471 of the Indian Penal Code.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State and perused the allegations made in the FIR, as contained in Annexure-1 to the present writ application. The allegations do attract the ingredients of a cognizable offence.
