JUSTICE BIBEK CHAUDHURI ORAL ORDER 18-11-2025 After hearing the learned counsels for the petitioner and the respondents, this Court finds that this Court cannot grant relief to the petitioner directing the respondents to release salary in favour of the petitioner during the period when she did not performed any work.
2. It is needless to say that the salary/remuneration is the monetary conversion of work done by the employee. When no work was done by the employee, she is not entitled to get any salary.

3. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he seeks to withdraw the instant writ petition with liberty to file a fresh writ petition in order to protect the petitioner's continuity of service.
4. In view of such submission, the instant writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file a fresh writ petition.
