Patna High Court CWJC No.298 of 2015 (3) dt.09-03-2015 09-03-2015 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The prayer of the petitioners in both these writ applications is one and the same namely, to consider their cases for grant of time bound promotion. Today, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Bihar State Khadi and Village Industries Board (hereinafter referred to as the Board) having filed the counter affidavit has given an undertaking that the cases of the petitioners for grant of time bound promotion shall be considered and decided in terms of the decision taken by the Board in its office order no. 44 dated 24.02.2015, constituting a screening Committee for examining the admissibility of time bound promotion to the working retired employees of the Board.

In the considered opinion of this Court, after this undertaking of the Board nothing remains to be decided but then while disposing of this writ application it is hereby directed that the Board must examine and take a final decision as with regard to grant of time bound

Patna High Court CWJC No.298 of 2015 (3) dt.09-03-2015 promotion to the petitioners and in case they are found eligible for such time bound promotion financial benefit thereof shall be given to them as per the decision taken by the Board within a period of one month from the date of taking such decision of time bound promotion to the petitioners.

Thus, whatever has to be done either in respect of decision or making payment of the admissible amount on account of the petitioners being found eligible for grant of time bound promotion must be done within a total period of four months as indicated above. With the aforementioned observation and direction, this application is disposed of.
