2. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 69 of the BNS and Section 4 of the POCSO Act.
3 . The prosecution case, in brief, is that the informant namely Anjali alleged that petitioner came in contact with informant and fell in a love trap and on 05.03.2020, he made physical relation with her on the pretext of marriage and after that kept on making such relation. Later on, he refused to marry with the informant.
4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence as alleged.

No.62018 of 2025(3) dt.09-10-2025 2/2 The present F.I.R. has been lodged after inordinate delay of six years and there is no plausible explanation for the same, which itself creates doubt on the entire prosecution case. It is submitted that both the parties have compromised the case and they have solemnized marriage with each other. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

Considering the delay in lodging the FIR, clean antecedent of the petitioner and other circumstances of the case, in the event of arrest or surrender within eight weeks from today, let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Session Judge VI-Cum-Special Judge, POCSO, Banka in connection with Ananadpur P.S. Case No. 47 of 2025, subject to the conditions laid down under section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
