====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 17-09-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the State.
2. Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 323, 386, 447, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
3. As per prosecution case, these two petitioners along with other F.I.R. named accused persons demanded ransom of Rs. 10 lacs from the company of informant. Upon refusal, the accused persons assaulted informant with butt of pistol and one of the co-accused snatched Rs. 50,000/- from the pocket of informant.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.65019 of 2025(2) dt.17-09-2025 2/2 petitioners are innocent and have committed no offence. Petitioners have falsely been implicated in this case due to village politics.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that there is specific accusation against petitioners that they demanded ransom and on refusal, assaulted informant with butt of pistol. Petitioner no. 1 has got three criminal antecedents and petitioner no. 2 has got one criminal antecedent.
6. Considering the nature of accusation and criminal antecedents, prayer for bail of the petitioners is refused. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) Navya/- U T
