JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 21-01-2015 By order passed on 21.3.2014 in Cr. Misc. No. 54459 of 2013 anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioners subject to their arrest or surrender within four weeks from the date of the order.
This application has been filed for extension of the period of surrender inter alia on grounds that these petitioners are contract labourers and are working as labourers in Gujarat and that they were not granted leave by their employer for surrendering in the matter. It is in this background that the prayer has been made. It is submitted by Mr. Kunwar Narayan Jamuar, learned counsel for the petitioners that the petitioners are ready for surrender and thus the period may be extended to enable them to

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking note of the submissions, the period of surrender granted under order dated 21.3.2014 passed in Cr. Misc. Case No. 54459 of 2013 stands extended by further two weeks from today with a clear stipulation that if the petitioners do not surrender within this period and obtain bail, this order extending the period shall stand recalled.
With the modification aforementioned in the order dated 21.3.2014 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 54459 of 2013, this application is allowed.
