2. The writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs:- (i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to absorb the husband of petitioner since the date of initial appointment.

(ii) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to pay the arrears of salary of

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in consonance with the order dated 17.07.2018 of Hon'ble High Court passed in CWJC No. 17670/2017 of Akhilanand Singh and others, which matter subsequently traveled to the Hon'ble Apex Court vide SLP Nos. 29618-29619/2024, wherein an undertaking was given to resolve the issues by constituting a five-member committee to deal with the matter as per the directions of Hon'ble Apex Court. He further submits that the committee has already been constituted to scrutinize meritoriously the job profile of each individual with reference to the records available with the University.

4. The petitioner seeks permission to file a detailed representation before the committee for examination of the issues involved and, upon such adjudication, if the claim is found to be justified, the respondents may be directed to extend all consequential benefits to the writ petitioner.

5. On the other hand, counsel representing the Magadh University does not dispute the submissions and stands so taken by the counsel for the petitioner.

6. Considering the stands taken by the parties and in terms of the undertaking given by the authorities of the State

Patna High Court CWJC No.17324 of 2018(5) dt.07-07-2026 3/3 and as also by the University in the case of "Akhilanand Singh and others, this matter is directed to be considered by the committee so constituted. Accordingly, the petitioner is permitted to approach the committee within a period of four weeks from today with all supportive materials, to show her bona fide for grant of all such benefits for which she had filed this writ petition and on filing of such claim before the committee so constituted, will consider her claim within a further period of two months and necessary decisions shall be taken and all admitted claims for which the petitioner is entitled shall be extended within the same time.
