For the Petitioner/s : Mr. Devendra Prasad Singh For the Opposite Party/s : Mr. Sri Mustaque Alam ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAKESH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 07-07-2017 Heard Sri Devendra Prasad Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Mustaque Alam, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor.

The sole petitioner has approached this Court for grant of anticipatory bail in G.O. Case No.448/14, which was registered for the offence under the provisions of Bihar Excise Act. On perusal of the report, it is evident that in the year 2014 itself a raid was conducted in the premises of the petitioner, from where huge quantity of country-made liquor was recovered. However, the petitioner fled away.

Considering the fact that the case was registered in the year 2014, there is no reason to entertain the petition for anticipatory bail. The petition stands dismissed. NKS/- (Rakesh Kumar, J) U T
