A complaint petition was filed in the year, 1997 and it appears from perusal of the impugned order that prima facie case for the offences under Sections-406, 420/504 of the Indian Penal Code was found sometime in the year, 1999 and the petitioner filed Cr. Revision against the cognizance order, which was dismissed in the year, 1999 but even then, the petitioner did not appear before the court below and, therefore, considering the above-said conduct of the petitioner, I do not think it proper to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner and accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 679 of 1997 stands rejected. However, the concerned court shall consider the regular bail application of the petitioner on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order.
