2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Danapur P.S. Case No. 204 of 2024 registered for the offence under Sections 147, 149, 323, 325, 307, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code and subsequently Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code was also added.

3. The petitioner, who is 85 years old is said to have participated in the brutal assault on the deceased and altogether 15 persons are said to have assaulted the deceased who has sustained 16 injuries.

4. The petitioner is in jail since 29.6.2024.

5. Learned counsel for the State as well as learned

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.66992 of 2024(2) dt.05-10-2024 2/2 counsel for the informant have vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the age of the petitioner, this application is allowed.

7. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned ACJM-I, Danapur, Patna/concerned Court below in connection with Danapur P.S. Case No. 204 of 2024.

8. It is made clear that the order granting bail to the present petitioner will not be treated as precedent for claiming bail by other co-accused.
